Karen Shaw
Interior Designer and Project Coordinator
With over 30 years of experience in the design field, Karen Shaw is a seasoned professional. She holds a degree in Interior Design from Utah State University and furthered her education with Architectural Studies at the University of Utah. Karen's impressive career includes working with various commercial and residential architectural firms in Salt Lake City and serving as an Interior Architect for Steve Wynn and the Mirage Corp. in Las Vegas, where she contributed to designing the renowned Bellagio Hotel. For the past two decades, Karen has specialized in crafting exquisite high-end residential homes in Park City, Deer Valley, and the Wasatch back area. In her role, she collaborates closely with the builders, overseeing daily operations and the decision-making processes.
Karen's design philosophy revolves around utilizing organic, natural materials like European white oak floors, walnut and oak cabinetry, and warm, inviting color palettes. She elevates these elements with high-end appliances, tiles, marble, quartzite countertops, and other premium materials to achieve a style she describes as "mountain modern" – a blend of comfort and sophistication. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Karen aims to create living spaces that not only impress aesthetically but also enhance the lives of those who dwell within them.
Steve Shaw
Director of Finance and Administration
With a degree in Finance from Michigan State University, Steve’s background in real estate development and mortgage banking has given him the tools and resources to facilitate the operations necessary to build a luxury spec home. With his financial skills and administrative know how, Steve keeps the daily operations running smoothly and oversees quality control and coordination of every project.
